I have been looking for months now to purchase a new tenor. Or rather a tenor that suits me. Unfortunately, the shop I was lucky to have growing up is no more. Is there a comprehensive list anywhere of shops that stock and sell Yanagisawa horns? I’m willing to travel some to get to them but it just seems real hard to find and I feel like, I won’t be satisfied until I try one. For what it is worth, I am in North Carolina so...

You're definitely in luck. There's a great dealer for Yanagisawa and Selmer horns in Greenville, South Carolina, Saxforte. Matthew usually does internet orders but also takes appointments to test horns. I bought my Yanagisawa AWO10 from Matthew in 2018 and I couldn't be happier. Check out the Saxforte website and give him a call.

No one can tell you the model. You will need to ask Yanagisawa directly, assuming that's a real Yany serial number.
