Selmer 1957 Mark VI tenor saxophone, serial number M73842
Stolen with a B & N “lost wax” (black hard rubber) mouthpiece and a Vandoren Optimum ligature.

The horn was stolen without a case.

My tenor saxophone went missing from the stage of the Orpheum theatre in Vancouver on January 5, 2018. This sax was given to me by the late Ross Taggart – a dear friend of mine & a well-loved key figure in the Vancouver and Canadian jazz scene. Ross passed away from cancer in 2013.
This instrument has huge sentimental value for me.
Please contact me if you can help me find this missing saxophone.

The first two photos below were taken before custom "key risers" (6 of them) were added to the palm keys and right hand side keys. The last photo is provided to illustrate the style of these key risers - this is not a photo of the missing saxophone.

I assume a police report is on file, listing the serial number. I wonder why I don't have site-privileges to see the photos - I was denied access to them. DAVE

Hi Dave. Yes I have filed a police report.

I am new to this site. How to I change my settings so that you and everyone else has site privileges to see the photos of my horn?

Thanks,

Chris

Yeah, I know. This was thought to be a secure space.

Thanks!

Thanks Dermot.

It is my first post. Do I need to change my settings so that you can see my photos?
