Hi, Our vintage Conn Cavalier Saxophone was stolen last September during a break in at out house nr. Ashbourne, Derbyshire. The instrument is silver in colour with a gold plated bell mouth. The serial number is 48194 and it is also engraved "Elkhart Indiana" and a date, which we think was in the 1920s. It was in a modern hard sided flight case. We still have the original wooden case. The police and insurers have been informed and I am also sending details to all of the nearby woodwind shops as it will need a service sooner or later. I am trying to circulate the information as widely as possible so if anyone has further ideas on where to send information I would be very grateful. Our daughter who is overseas (which is why we didn't notice the theft at the time) is very upset at the loss of such a beautiful instrument.
Thank you for any help
Fleke
