A man who made stuff that just worked, unlike the other camp that insists on bloatware.

RIP Steve

A humble giant. Steve never waivered from his vision. Without him we would not have Pixar, Apple.....and Microsoft would never have had anyone to copy.

I totally recommend viewing his Stanford Commencement Speech.

Amazing. Totally amazing.

Hearing the sad news this morning, for some reason, I immediately had a thought for Michael Brecker.

Another Genius who changed our lives, who was far too young to leave.

Listening to Jobs' speech, it becomes so clear: Michael Brecker and Steve Jobs share a lot. True and humble Genius, whatever that means.

Just to put it straight: I'm no Mac fan at all. But as I stated earlier this morning, that small piece of hardware in my pocket which allows me to pick ANY tune of Brecker or Dex, at ANY time, ANYwhere, owes a lot to Mr. Jobs.

Thanks, Sir. The world will miss you.

A very inspired and inspiring person who will be greatly missed by all of us into technology but not techno geeks. Let us hope this is not the start of the decline of Apple.

Three Apples that changed the world
1 Adam and Eve'e Apple
2 Sir Isaac Newton's Apple
3 Steve Jobs Apple

Rest in piece

I hope that the corporation he has left behind continues to go forward with the same ideals and courage that Steve possessed. He was never afraid to take a chance, and many of those bold (and largely against the grain) moves have shaped life as we now know it.

In my immediate family we have 2 macbooks, 3 iphones, one imac and 5 or 6 ipods...Thank you, and rest in peace.

As an employee of Apple, I feel a special sense of loss. Steve created something at Apple that no-one has been able to duplicate. His vision and serious attention to detail changed a lot more than just technology.

As a life long fan of Apple, the loss is even greater.

Steve will be missed.
