The Rep is trying to tell me the keys on a Stephenhauser are silver plated and then lacquered over.
They look like they are plated. I don't know any horns that are lacquered silver plated.

Anybody seen one and know what the finish is?

Thanks for the reply. I know about the King horns. I looked at every nickle plated horn we have in the store and this horn looks the same way. Silver plating has a different look to it.

Looks like nickle plating to me.

If the color of the plating has a dark hue to it, it's nickel. If it has a white hue to it, it's silver. Find real silver plate, and match it up next to it if you're unsure.
