I posted previously about this instrument which I plan to restore and received lots of helpful input on my project. What I have failed to pursue is serial numbers to try to get an idea of when it was made. The instrument is a Selmer USA stencil of a Buescher TT alto without the snap in pads. If the serial number is part of the Buescher series (92537) that would date it to about 1922. It is also labeled "Low Pitch". I know that stencil serial numbers don't necessarily follow the number series of the manufacturer, but I have been unable to find any serial number records for Selmer USA prior to their purchase of Buescher which was well after production of the TT was stopped. Can anyone be of assistance here.

As always, thank you for tolerating a clarinetist (and clarinet repairman) who is currently a complete novice with the sax. After 50+ years, it's time to branch out.
