Squeal up octaves with vibrato anyone???

I heard someone make a tennor squeal! I mean a controled sound that was pretty cool. It was right on tempo during a pretty fast riff. He maintained a slow vibrato and then jumped up and octave and then another. I was pretty impressed. I have tried to figure it out a while now. He seemed to do it at will. Anyone know how to do this?

I found this definition on wickipedia: "Altissimo refers to the uppermost register on woodwind instruments. The altissimo register is also known as the high register." I am not sure, since my music education is limited to 5th through 10th grade. Since then, I have done everything by ear. Anyways, I think he hit the key right above the b key on the sax while holding down the sharp key and started a very high pitch sqeek that he was able to control very well. Is that what you mean by altissimo???? Is there some cd or something I can look into to study the altisimo fingering? Thanks for the reply!!
