OK , I did pick one last year but since you asked ...... I'll go with Stablemates...... whaddya think ?
You know what, you are right. I need to eat more broccoli. And Mike, yeah, I think there's a feature in Reaper to slow the tune down for me... what the heck, right? Might as well give 'er a shot.I quite like something challenging, after all if I just keep playing the same old stuff all I will be able to play is the same old stuff, if you know what I mean. Not saying I'm going to make a good job of Stablemates, but I'm going to give it a go and see what happens.
Sure Victor. First you import the backing track, then right-click on the waveform portion, and choose "item properties". It'll pop up a menu, and you'll see "playback rate" as an option a little further than halfway down the popup. Default is at 1.000, just adjust up or down as necessary. Make sure you have the "preserve pitch" checkbox checked.I'd dig Stablemates...
If you find it and don't mind sharing, I'd love to know.
Thanks Reine, you don't happen to have the discographical information for this Miles Davis version, do you? It seems to be blocked in the US...Love Stablemates! In fact, I love all of Benny's writing - genius. This is my favourite recording, with a Miles solo so beautiful it brings tears to my eyers.
