All underlying software components needed to run this Forum (and other SOTW pages) are now in need for updating.

For this project the Forum will be turned off on Thursday starting circa 12 noon GMT (8 AM EDT – Eastern Daylight Time).

This effort will take approx. 6-10 hours.

Will post closer details when closer to starting point.

All is now done; new versions of Open SUSE, Apache, PHP, firewall and other good stuff.

At first glance the forum seems to behaving OK.
The forum sw /vBulletin) version is the same as before. If you see anything what is different than before (due probably of this upgrade), please report here.

Much thanks for all the work, Harri. As an I.T. administrator myself, I understand how anxiety-filled these upgrades can be. From my end everything looks fine, no hiccups as yet.
