Hi all,
Hope someone can help me identify this old soprano sax. Engraving reads "IMPERIAL CREATIONS INTERNATIONAL NEW YORK." I've found a reference to a wholesale music company by that name which imported Fender bass copies from Japan, at least during the 70's. I'm wondering if they also had a house brand sax line. It's not a lightweight Asian horn and the patina has taken on a 'greenish' tint like some old Indiana/Pan Americans that I've seen. No serial number. Both stacks are inline, as are the palm keys (not offset). Nickel keys so it's not a pro horn by any means. But I was surprised at how well it played and sounded right out of the case, dirt, few bad pads and all. I'm adding some pics and have more if anyone wants to see them. Appreciate any help, suggestions, advice. Peace
