I'm a big fan of Sonny Rollins. I just like his style, his phrasing and that tone!

This one is a fave for the phrasing in the beginning and end. Superb tonguing technique on the stacatto notes. I just love it.

 

[Isle of Jazz]

One of my favorites as well...it's in our book and it's really fun to play. It's interesting how natural the 13 bar blues can sound after you're accustomed to it.
