I need some song suggestions! I am playing with a gospel/jazz group and I need a couple of up beat songs that I could do as solos. I am currently working on Kirk Whalum's 'Fit to Battle'. That is going to be me and a trombone. A couple of others would be great. Will be traveling to France with this group this summer so I have a bit of time to get the songs down. Something from the gospel repertoire would be nice but not 100% necessary.
