Before I start, I just want you to know that I am aware of another similar sax dream post around here, but finding it occurs in no avail.

My friend had been hiding from me that she was learning to play the sax. Let me keep you in mind that she gets what she wants when she wants it. But anyways, she started playing the sax and went all out and bought about six different saxes (that I can remember). And she decided to give it up, and decided to let me have her saxes.

One odd thing was she had a four different sizes of saxes: all open and locked up in her closet.

The first thing I saw was a Mark VI tenor that had never been refinished and was almost in mint condition. She claimed it cost her $9000.
And then I saw that straight bari (like the one in the picture on a thread around here.)
A few Yamaha tenors.
And a contrabass sax.

And by now, I was basically crying. Just imagine how much GAS I would of had!:(

A single dream could mean anything, everything or nothing. A recurring pattern of dreams might be more interpretable, but even then it needs context in my (admittedly very amateur) opinion.

That would take all the fun out of our analyzing bluesaxgirl's dream and reducing her to a mass of quivering gelatin.

Yes. Like the dream I had that I posted about, with the giant bass sax and the cheerleader, this is obviously sexual in nature.

I'll give you a hint: "closet"

Just kidding, sweet dreams!

Klegar gave me the best advice about my dream, but I have yet to follow up on it.

Sorry bluesaxgirl...painting reeds is definitely not normal...

You can:
Scrape, cut, soak, shave, lick, sand, heat, trim, drill, flavor, inebriate, clip, bake, press, suck, file, un-file, jazz-cut, warp, gouge, moisten, crack, chip, bend, break, bite, over-blow, tongue, slap-tongue, curse, cure, waterproof, sterilize, sanitize...

or conduct any experiment you want on poor reeds...

and on this forum....thats ALL considered normal....

You just can't paint em'...That would be weird...:D
