I have been looking for this horn for a while and now I came across one, that looks to be in quite nice shape.
Laquer is looking really good and otherways there doesnt seem to be much to complain.
Pads would seem to be in good shape, but there is no info on the last service, so something may need to be done.
The problem is that this is located abroad. Even though its not so far, its not possible to go and look and try it at the moment (covid-19 restrictions).
Hes asking for 1800$ for it is quite a much more than I was looking to pay for one...
Is that too much or a fair price?
Let me know what you think, any advice?
Thanks!

I have a RevD tenor and I love it, thats why I'm now after the alto.
I missed out on one RevD Alto at e-bay a while back, and that still haunts me...
as a sax hunter You will live your life haunted - I have "far too many" stories to tell. The SML Super 47 that went for $1100 AUD - I went to bed convinced it would fetch far more. I recently scored a rebuilt Rev D alto for less than 2 grand AUD - which I gave away. You win and you lose and you learn and you yearn and you savour your triumphs and lick your wounds. Tomorrow is another day.

Update, I have finally found myself a RevD Alto and its currently travelling to its new home, to me!
I'm really excited to fill my collection with yet another RevD.
I guess next I will need to find myself a baritone 😨😆
