I got a hr BARI tnr mpc from EZ couple yrs ago. It has a very contemporary sound. Med. chamber at most. Minimal baffle. Excellent mpc. Major consideration is its very high beak profile. It reminds me of playing bass clarinet. If you want a very small profile, Yanigisawa metal is compact sounding.
Small chamber tenor rollover piece?
I got to thinking last night what the tenor V16 hr would play like with a small chamber. I like the small chamber on alto, wonder if that translates to tenor. What pieces have been produced in a rollover design and a small chamber in hard rubber for tenor? Curious, I couldn't think of any of the top of my head.
