Small chamber tenor rollover piece?

2014 Views 9 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  mfry
I got to thinking last night what the tenor V16 hr would play like with a small chamber. I like the small chamber on alto, wonder if that translates to tenor. What pieces have been produced in a rollover design and a small chamber in hard rubber for tenor? Curious, I couldn't think of any of the top of my head.

Funny to mention the Yanagisawa metal, I used to play one--a 9. It was a very flexible piece actually, but I thought the square chamber left something to be desired. Anyhow, thanks for the info. Maybe something like the V16 but with a slightly smaller chamber would be interesting---but its pretty good as is. Is the Jody Jazz about the same as a V16 in terms of chamber size? I have the impression that is true, but I find the V16 brighter than the Jody Jazz.
Thanks Keith, I should try to track down a Yanagisawa rubber again. Also, sorry to omit--I was speaking of the HR*. Not any of the metal pieces.
