Sirari woodwinds

Sirari woodwinds is a company located in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, previously founded in the city of Córdoba in 2015 by the saxophonist Ruben Messina before the prone problems of the instrumentalists in reference to the reeds, we are dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of accessories for wind instruments.

With main activity in the manufacture of reeds for saxophone, clarinet and double reeds for bassoon.

Our manufacturing policies are based on achieving the high quality demands of the great contemporary instrumentalists and for them we implement our own "handmade" method that is governed by artisanal processes and constant monitoring in all the manufacturing processes of the products.

In this way we focus on quality and not quantity, achieving in low quantities of production of quality products and consistency.

Ruben messina

Ruben A. Messina, born in the city of Bs As; He studied music at the "Conservatorio de Música San Martín" in its beginnings with classical guitar. He would leave academic studies to time, to explore and experience new horizons within jazz and fusion music.

He began his studies of the saxophone as a self-taught; traveling through different countries in Latin America. And he was carrying out a research work with different saxophone teachers, he came up with a common problem regarding the accessories of the wind instruments.

In 2008 he settled in the city of Córdoba Capital where he continued his saxophone studies and participated in different groups of folklore, jazz and fusion. Finally, adding to his experience in the medium and the contributions of saxophonists and clarinetists that he met throughout his career, he decided to undertake his project "Sirari Woodwinds".

I have been in communication with Sirari who have agreed to sell me an array of reeds for both alto and tenor saxophone. These are to be sent to that oft mentioned local musician to whom I have previously sent many reeds and who was so taken with those of Gonzales. I shall convey her appraisal here in due course. The communication with Sirari was prompt and courteous. I requested a paypal invoice for an array of single reeds which was quickly received - very easy dealings.

Well the consensus is these reeds are weird and unlike anything else the player had experienced, which is "just" about everything else. They didn't say much more than that as they were by this time focused on the Rigotti Wild
