On Craig's for $1450. Looks to be in really nice shape, say it plays well on the original pads. Gold washed bell still sharp looking. what y'all think?

Around '39....a nice older Zeph.

The Silverplate would up the value, but as Milandro notes...it's an old, early one; not the mid-period models which had the S20 bodies. It is closer to a VT-II, therefore (nice horns, but with a much softer and breathy-er tone than the mid Zephs). If it was 230,XXX to 350,XXX...then the asking price would be more in line, assuming it had no significant issues.

That one is likely worth about $750-850 or so.
