Sibelius text ?

Whenever I've done anything like this I've "exported" the manuscript pages as either .tiff or bitmaps...then I use photoshop to manually change or insert page numbers, additional text, etc... From there you should be able to insert the manuscript pages as image documents into your Word document. I don't know of any way to do it without having to edit it in some way "outside" of Sibelius and then recompile it into your Word document.

Downloaded a 30 day trial of InDesign. Seems very complicated, can't figure out something as simple as importing a Word document. There has to be an easier solution.
Yeah...I wouldn't suggest InDesign unless you're already using it for other projects and know your way around. Even the professional version of Photoshop that I use requires some skill and training, but all you should really need is a simple image editor of some sort that allows you to "paint" over page numbers or whatever other text you want to replace and enter substitute page numbers or text. You'll be dealing with your manuscript pages as "images"...jpg, tiff, bmp, etc...either as full-page images or as a smaller "picture insert" within a page of your word document. You should be able to handle all of that within Microsoft Word...(or Adobe Acrobat if you're creating a PDF)...except for the image editing itself.

I've been using Photoshop for so many years that I've never had a need for a more simplified image editor so I wouldn't know what to suggest. I'm sure there are bound to be some easy to use image editors out there that will work for you though.
