Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on where to get my sax serviced in the Melbourne area? Last time I had one serviced I was in Brisbane, and not sure who the go-to person is in Melbourne.
I would have thought that was self explanatory, but looking for someone good. I've found there's generally one or two people that have a good name for servicing in the cities I've lived and they tend to be the 'go-to' people if you're getting a service etc.
Everyone will have different answers depending on who they use, and therefore think is the best, which is normal and fine.
My list is Phil Noy and Pete Jerabek (in Geelong but worth the trip). I’ve used them for years now, too long to remember, and still travel to see them. I’ve used most other repairers there (lived in Melbourne for 26 yrs) with varying degrees of success but stuck with Phil and Pete once I found them. I will say, Peter Jerabek is THE most fastidious technician I’ve ever met, which appeals to me.
Perfect thanks! I don't mind travelling to Geelong if it means getting a good job done. Will check them out!
