I did it!

The case wasn't in too bad conditions, but was almost without space for accessories.

Beautiful indeed! I like the finish color/pattern.
Were the strap hooks on the top lid originally?

I just bought leather (thin is ideal) took all the plates out and then glue the leather to the original case. In some parts I had to work for make the leather thin, specially in the ending parts. After that I did the interior with some wood pieces and velvet. It was a long trip but worth it.

Very cool. I've worked on interiors before, but never worked on an exterior before. After seeing these results, I'll have to keep this in consideration.
