I'm planning to go in Paris next summer so I would like to know if I can get more chances to get a mark vi in France than in North America.

Thank you!!

You will see nice ones there in the stores: for example, in "Saxmachine". But prices will be much higher than the USA.

The USA is, by far, the best place for buying a Mark VI, and, for that matter, almost anything else, from reeds and ligatures to clothes and cars.

If you read/speak le français, check www.leboncoin.fr before you travel. The most popular classified, some nice horns show up, most in the so called région parisienne.

But if you buy one in Paris... what will it cost you to get it out of the country?

Will you turn it over to a ham fisted baggage handler to toss in the belly of your plane... possibly more than once?

It would be fun to shop in Paris... but cheaper to buy in the USA...
