I would like to know a bit more about my saxophone re sery, history, etc.

The inscription on front of sax is:

Made in France

The inscription is the back:

A Mark VI made in 1965, highly desirable alto from what is basically (and generally) regarded as the best line of saxophones ever made. If it's mint condition with original lacquer, original case, etc., it could be worth up to five grand or more. Refinished, but playable, maybe three grand tops.
