MauriatBoy,

Be aware that you might have to file down the 404 to get it to fit well. I usually remove the screws and file the inside of both halves with a flat file. Then I mount it on the mouthpiece with an old reed and tighten the screws. Use another old reed to shape the lig to your reed's contours. Once adjusted like this, the ligature doesn't need much pressure to hold the reed in place and will not slip on your mouthpiece.

Enjoy that mouthpiece!

Not that you asked, but a Vandoren Optimum V16 will fit perfectly, as well as a Saxxas ligature (my personal favorite on my Mark III).

Thanks for replys to all.My Saxxas fitted great but found a old 2 screw lig worked best on my FG piece so fancy a silver selmer 404.Never been a fan of the V16 lig.

I use FL ligature with my Freddie Gregory, fits perfectly...
Which FL model? There are so many! I have one that fits perfectly on my TK Focustone but is too narrow to fit on the Mark III.
