I'm trying to help a friend sell a tenor sax that belonged to his elderly father in law. It's a Jupiter tenor STS 787 in near mint condition. I'll have to look closer tomorrow to see if there are even any scratches. No dings or dents. Looks brand new. What do y'all think is a fair asking price?

Very tricky, Jupiters have lots of bad press and unless one talks of their top m0dels (this isn't the case) they tend to fetch low prices when secondhand. My guess is somewhere around 500-600 $. I don't even think that it is a price thing since a lot of people will simply dismiss it on account of its image and of being a Taiwanese horn regardless of quality. You will have, I should imagine, a tough time to sell it. Best of luck!
