Where can I find a good C Melody mouthpiece? New or used, whatever, something decent.

Looks like I may have found that holy grail with the 100xxx Buescher C melody I just bought.
I have quite a few original C tenor mouthpieces, but find them all too stuffy....perfect perhaps in the 1920s.
Most of us find that a modern piece...alto or tenor dependent upon preference..... is infinitely better.
Delighted however that, for you, it represents the Holy Grail.

I don't know about it being the holy grail, it just came in today and the horn needs a full overhaul.

I was surprised to see the mouthpiece is in this condition. I am planning on using a King Toneking alto mp. I'll let y'all know how this works out.

I use whatever alto mouthpiece I like on C melody. I find any of the Selmers work, the Woodwind CO. K5* is good too (alto).

Beechler makes a C-Mel mouthpiece, or at least they did when I bought mine. It plays. Bill Street also makes (or made) one. DAVE
