Welcome to the forum...One of my specialties is C soprano. I have found that the Yamaha plastic 4C (not 4CM) is a great mouthpiece for these. all I have is a Martin C mouthpiece but it needs to stay with the horn. Keep watching ebay as the Bueschers turn up but usually go for over $200.

I don't have a Buescher piece hanging around right now. However, the Morgan Mouthpiece Company makes a C Soprano Mouthpiece. As far as I know, we are the only company that does. It is a hard rubber mouthpiece designed for use with a C Soprano Saxophone but also designed to use modern Bb Soprano reeds. They are not cheap, but they are top quality handcrafted mouthpieces.

The Morgans work very well, (I have one and use it on my Selmer Mark VI era C soprano), but it has a response, pitch and tone quite different from a Buescher C. I may have an unfinished Buescher C soprano blank available. (I'm not home now.). Email me at [email protected] if interested.
