searching for "Blues Scale Exercises + Whole Tone Scales" by Josep Loredo Moner

The front page says :

"Blues Scale Exercises + Whole Tone Scales - Saxophone"
copyright Josep Loredo Moner
January 2004

I found a partial pdf file copy of this music book and would like to find and/or purchase the complete full version of this book.
No publisher is listed in the pdf file copy, and google searching only results in the scribd.com listing of the partial copy.
I tried searching on the author's name - no luck there either.

Any help in this search, or any knowledge to contact this Josep Loredo Moner is appreciated. I think he is located in Spain.

Thanks,
LT

JimD - Thanks....yes, that link is to where I got the partial copy of the music. It only has the C scale exercises, is missing the follow on other scales. That's why I'm searching for a source to purchase or find the complete music book, with all of the scales.

Best Regards,
LT

Yes, well it looks like that is a very dodgy illegal site anyway, sharing copyright works :( . I'd steer well clear.

Yes you are right, it's listed as a demo. If you go to his site http://susqueda54-lifeismusicmusici...0/04/blues-scale-exercices-saxophone.html?m=0 he offers a download which is described as all included and costs €40 although there's no guarantee of course. You might be able to contact him through that site to check but who knows how active it is. Incidentally the site I posted is Scribd and not dodgy at all. He offers the demo on his own page. I might be more tempted to just transpose the C stuff yourself.

Scribd has contravened several of my copyrights so as far as I'm concerned it is dodgy - they do not respect copyright. Of course, they may well also have legit stuff, but that does not excuse them for publishing material without permission. As an artist and educator the kind of file sharing they allow is disgraceful, not to mention hurtful. Not only to our pockets but also demoralising when creative work is just bandied about with not so much as a "by your leave."

Harumph.

I think people have different interpretations of the word “dodgy.”

Clearly scribd does not seem to care about copyrights, or (to take the nicest possible view) fails to adequately police its site re copyright. I suspect however it is the former.

Often the word is interpreted in the Internet age as indicating a scam site that either seeks to defraud or harbor malware.

However otherwise offensive, immoral or copyright violative Scribd may be, it does not seem to be a fraudulent or malware site. It seems rather very upfront about its copyright violations.

Honor among thieves, or something like that?

Fair enough.
