What's up everyone?! Here's a quick video of some of the things I do to warm up (technique-wise). I like using bebop heads and taking them through the keys as well as some brass player warm-ups I've heard before.

i had to laugh. The first thing you do is a Clarke Technique study i did on trpt some 50 years ago. K

The approach note thing you do and the interval study I also do on flute as warmups. good advice and you showing the music will help many people who don't know what you are doing. Maybe in a nother video say why you like the various exercises and what you use them to achieve. (Just a thought )

I've always heard trumpets do that warm up and never paid it any attention...until Ernie Watts mentioned he used it as well.
