Hi Folks,
I have some horns that need work and was wondering if I could get some
recomendations for the SF bay area. Someone you have had serious work
done from and is capable of rolling out dents and touching up lacquer.
Besides the normal saxophone adjustments that are needed.
regards,
t h

There is another thread on here (i'll see if I can find it) that pretty well covers this. Eric Drake at Saxology/Saxcraft in on University in Berkeley (www.saxcraft.com) does really nice dent/metal work, including engraving (plus all the other standard stuff, plus mouthpiece refacing). He took some nasty dents/bends out of my King Cleveland so that even I can barely tell they were there. There are others around, too - let me see if I can track down that other thread for you.

Also, go to the dealer directory in this General Section, next door down the hall..... All of the folks worth a hill o' beans are listed there.

Of all, Lee Kramka and Best Music are gonna be the priciest...Eric at Saxology is in the middle... and then Gabe and Tony are on the less expensive side.

All do very, very good work, and are spread-out enough that geographically, someone's gonna be nearby (if not two).
