So far just about all the sax shirts I've seen are just a lame innuendo. While some of them are okay, some are just plain bad. What are your favorite sax shirts?

I've decided to go with a 'sea life' theme on all of my new Aloha shirts.
Today's shirt has a swordfish theme.
Tomorrow is ahi day.
The next is angel fish.

I can't find a decent aloha sax shirt.:(

I haven't found an aloha shirt with humunukuapuaa yet. I've only seen it on a T shirt.:D

Wow! That was quick... I didn't even have time to type humunukunukuapuaa in the search engine and you found the thread... you are good!

Doya think Koz or Kashiwa might have found one?

Do I dare ask the definition, or would it end up with this post getting closed?

It's a trigger fish, a reef fish with a ridiculously long name that means somthing like 'fish with the snout of a pig'.
I misspelled it before it's:

humuhumunukunukuapua'a

If you are interested in the pronunciation of the name, it was immortalized in the song "Take Me Back to My Little Grass Shack" by several Hawaiian entertainers and also by Arthur Godfrey back in the '50's. Hakukani will of course remind us of WHERE the little grass shack was...:D

Try this:
MY LITTLE GRASS SHACK IN KEALAKEKUA HAWAII
(Bill Cogswell / Tommy Harrison / Johnny Noble)
Gary Aiko & The Legends

THERE'S A PLACE IN HAWAII
THAT IS VERY DEAR TO ME
I AM HOMESICK AS CAN BE
WON'T YOU LISTEN TO MY PLEA?

I WANT TO GO BACK TO MY LITTLE GRASS SHACK IN KEALAKEKUA HAWAII
I WANT TO BE WITH ALL THE KANES AND WAHINES THAT I KNEW LONG AGO

I CAN HEAR OLD GUITARS A-PLAYING
ON THE BEACH AT HO'ONAUNAU
I CAN HEAR THE HAWAIIANS SAYING
"KOMO MAI NO KAUA IKA HALE WELAKAHAO"

IT WON'T BE LONG 'TIL MY SHIP WILL BE SAILING BACK TO KONA
A GRAND OLD PLACE THAT'S ALWAYS FAIR TO SEE.
I'M JUST A LITTLE HAWAIIAN AND A HOMESICK ISLAND BOY,
I WANT TO GO BACK TO MY FISH AND POI,

I WANT TO GO BACK TO MY LITTLE GRASS SHACK IN KEALAKEKUA, HAWAII
WHERE THE HUMUHUMUNUKUNUKUAPUAA GOES SWIMMING BY
WHERE THE HUMUHUMUNUKUNUKUAPUAA GOES SWIMMING BY

The little big band I play in actually does this tune as a vocal feature. Every time we play it, our 70 year old bass player, who had a lifetime career in Honolulu and the west coast, tells a different story of his various experiences with the tune.
