hello

i use the lcm 85 clip on mic but i really like the sm57/58 sound.
is there a clamp available for these mics to clip on to the tenor sax.
ive tried the drum mic clamps but i couldnt close the clamp far enough onto the sax.
thanks for any help.

hello John thanks for info

this is the clamp i have tried before.its no good for the sax, the clamp where the spring is does not tighten very much although
it looks like it should,it only turns a couple of turns and there is no flex in it ...its quite rigid.
im in the process of rigging a homemade one now.

I try to make one this days and Google brought your post as I tried to research. Attached image depicts the proof of a concept for the Alto, with 32 mm flange hole and 120 mm / 3.5 mm horn rim.
Imagine it is going be black and the spikes will be stainless /slightly coiled to attempt (hopelessly) key noise.
