Hey all! Here is another duo recording with my good friend Dom Palombi on drums and myself on tenor. This one is on his channel, and we're playing a groove version of John Coltrane's "Equinox." Have listen, let me know what you think, and leave a comment on the video (on YouTube) letting him know I made you aware of it! If you're so inclined, please subscribe to his channel as well. He's a really great player and has lots planned for the channel!

Man, I love this. You sound great, as always. Every since I first heard John Klemmer's Nexus: One for Trane many years ago, which has a few sax/drum duets (the Klemmer/Carl Burnett version of Impressions is the most ferocious I have ever heard -
), I've really gotten into sax/percussion duets. When my jazz group rehearses, the drummer and I usually jam for a while as the others are setting up. An opportunity to do some great rhythmic things as well as a lot of harmonic freedom, as you demonstrated. Hope to hear more!
