Measured at the large end of bodytube with digital caliper, inside diameter subtracted from outside diameter and divided by 2 to obtain 1 thickness.

Because of curvature of the tube it is difficult to measure 1 thickness with a micrometer but I did use a small ball bearing to match the curve and obtained a thickness a little differently and perhaps more accurately ...

Whatever the method I think that some comparison is necessary given the typical statements ....

"horn is good but metal is too thin"

Brass sheet that is rolled into tubes ( see factory video/s ) should be very consistent thickness.

Tell me where you want the body measured, and Ill pop what I have here in the shop using an ultrasonic thickness machine

I have a 73' Buffet SDA, 60's Beaugnier/Vito & 1941 Holton tenor/s... Where can I measure to 'jive' into this info bank?
