I'm an intermediate 45 years old tenor sax player.
Looking for a great teacher in Montreal to study jazz improvisation and be inspired by.

Any ideas?

I'm a little surprised no one has responded. Look up Andre Leroux. He kills me every time I hear him. If I lived in Montreal (and I wish I did) I would go to him anytime. It is a crime he isn't better known.

Also maybe check out Chet Doxas.

Third option, find Simon Stone. Another killer player. I think he teaches at one of the universities.

These guys are all amazing improvising musicians, and I bet they all take private students. That ought to get you started. Ok?
