A case is a good thing to have, as well as a mouthpiece/ligature/cap.
I suppose that a neck strap for anything larger than soprano would be a good idea (some even need a strap for soprano); cork grease; extra reeds; a reed-holder of some sort to store prepped reeds; a folding stand (I have a K&M for straight sop, and a collapsing alto stand that fits in my cases easily enough); and a light cleaning cloth and maybe a folded paper towel to tidy up after playing.
