"Not sure about if this was from the factory..." (Usually means a relacquered horn.)

"I don't know a lot about saxophones, but..." (This one is always followed by descriptions of snap-on resonators and Norton springs. If you know what those are, how do you not know anything about saxophones?)

Also, anyone who isn't upfront about where their horns are made. I'm thinking of Mauriat and Toulour especially. They may be great horns, but they are clearly made in Taiwan, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I don't know anything about saxophones but I have been told that it plays from top to bottom.

Supervised by French Technicians.

What about these famous lines:

I have to speak to my manager about that.
Another couple was just in here looking at that one.
If you put a couple hundred down now, I'll hold it for you until we can work out financing.

.......And the always popular:
You won't find a better deal than this.

Reeds are guaranteed, no matter how long you keep them, to remain free of termites, woodpeckers and any other form of life regardless of how high or low on the evolutionary scale they may be.

"using only the FinestCane hand selected for consistency"

There must be a plant somewhere called FinestCane, because everybody uses it (as opposed to ThisYear'sCane, which seems to have gone extinct).
