Hey!
I'm overhauling my horn this summer, a Selmer SA80 bari, but I'm not quite sure what pads or resonators to ask for. I'm planning on getting my horn overhauled by Tenor Madness, and they ask to be told what I want. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Its all down to personal preference.

I would go with pisoni pro J pads with riveted domed metal resonators.

Sounds good to me. Or standard plastic resonators. They do the same thing, but look different, and no chance of rusting, and no chance of any air leaking around the rivet.

I did one this year with the pisoni propads with plastic resonators and it was such a great bari, I think these are some of the best out there….

Get their resonators. Tenor Madness makes a seamless domed brass resonator with a screw back (re-usable). The dome is very shallow and has minimal tone hole protrusion. They look great, sound great, and will stay with the horn forever.
