hello,
who can tell me more about my straight soprano model?
it is a s-9930 in 1-piece design!
normaly these models come (now) with two necks.
the model in 1-piece design are nowadays sold as s-9030.

the sn = 00226137. how old could it be and what ist the difference to the s-9030?

I received a used A991 this morning. An absolute minty and judging by the SN, 0022xxxx puts it at '99 aprox.

I'm selling my Yanagisawa S-901 soprano saxophone. Serial is 00226*** which makes it one of the earliest made 901's.

By your sn, your soprano was made around mid 2000. I first saw one at the Japan Music Show in November 2001 and they were available in the UK in 2002. I am surprised that there is no model number on it. Are you sure it is solid silver and not a silver plated S-901 ?
