I want a tenor piece that is warm but I can get some edge out of. It says on the website that this mouthpiece has an adjustable baffle. Is it simply a removable baffle, or can you adjust it to 3 or more heights? How does the adjustable baffle work basically?

how would this piece sound compared to say a meyer, otto link, vandoren java? I need something WARM and edgy but not too edgy.

The baffle is intended to wedge into place in one position. It can be customized to make it less bright by sanding/filing it down. I rarely use a Spoiler. But when I do, mine have had 1/3rd of the plastic removed so they are lower.

You can build up its thickness using epoxy putty. You can can also make wider by putting a thin layer of epoxy (not putty) on the sides. This way it will wedge in place closer to the tip.
