Very interestingand great playing. I've never seen Kirk's stritch (Buescher straight alto) with the big bell. Usually it is his manzello (King Saxello) with a larger bell fitted later. I knew a repairman in Dayton, Ohio who said he did the bell swap on one of Roland Kirk's horns when Kirk was still working in the southwest Ohio area. I don't know if that is true. The bell in this video may be from a mellophone or a baritone horn.

I heard Pontes' music (or maybe Baltimores'?)had his horns for sale ,and restored them to original shape.....!
