About 12 years ago I played a silver 42 Conn Navy bari sax. The mouthpiece was an RPC. This setup was amazing. I sold the horn and mouthpiece as I wasn't playing bari enough.

Since then I have been regularly playing tenor and more recently bari again. I had been really satisfied with the mouthpieces that I've been blowing on:

Alto: Jody Jazz metal
Tenor: SR Technologies PRO and Phil Barone HR
Bari: Florida Otto Link

I was listening to some old recordings on the bari and thought I'd see if Ron was still making RPC pieces. He was. I decided to order one for each of my horns.

They came in a week ago. Let me tell you, if you haven't played RPC Mouthpieces then I strongly suggest you do so. These are hands down the best mouthpieces I've ever played. Ron said he's going to announce a new line soon on his Facebook page as well...I've already placed my order!

I love mouthpiece revelations. I had one recently, and believe me, you're never too experienced or old to have one.
