In December, I bought a pair of sticks, I sometimes play the drums but not very well, I wanted to try them on a plastic bag because my girlfriend had to go back to live with her sons so I can't rehearsal anymore on her bottom during this very weird period,.
So I put the plastic bag on my thighs and played... I didn't have any goals, just to know the way it sounds when it's recorded.
Then I took my bass and tried something but it was too slow, so I played 'Round Midnight very badly.
Then I added the melody on the alto saxophone.
I wasn't very prepared to do that, so it is like it is.

That’s hilariously brilliant and brilliantly hilarious. I look forward to hearing the version with your girlfriend’s bottom involved when things are normal(?) again. Terrific, do more.

Thanks, I've just called her to tell her what you said, she was laughing and said she loved me even if I am a bit... No word for that.

She's craving for it. But it doesn't sound like a snare drum.

I just listened and visualised your g/f's posteria as a snare drum. Word for me.
I think it depends the way I play it, maybe I can make it sound like a bass drum, low tom or maybe timpani, when everything is OK I will practice it more and see what I can do.
With some plastic bags and other tools on her body, I could make a drum set.

Thanks for your comments.

The smokey café scene may yet comeback...

French researchers to test nicotine patches on coronavirus patients
Study - which stresses serious health risks of smoking - suggest substance in tobacco may lower risk of getting coronavirus

It's already well established that smoking makes you more vulnerable to respiratory infections and then suppresses your immune response once you're infected. And there are already a number of studies showing that people who smoke or vape are more likely to have the worst cases of COVID-19. One study showed that smokers are 2.5 times more likely be admitted into ICUs and die than non-smokers. So it might be best to wait and see if that French study can be replicated before we start thinking that smoking is a good way to avoid COVID-19.

Of course, it has to be the nicotine rather than the tar coat on the pulmonary epithelium that prevents the virus from reaching the cells :p
Scandinavia could provide a convenient natural experiment if they recorded Snus vs smoking vs vaping vs nothing.

I'm betting on only breathing air that's been purified by 900C° burning herbs.
