Anyone else picked up their tickets for Sonny Rollins' 50th Anniversary Concert at Carnegie Hall next month? You can find more info at sonnyrollins.com, and it looks like there's still decent seats available... my understanding is that this one night performance is to be released as an album on Sonny's DOXY records next April...should be a great night...

I'm really hoping I can make it. I need to look at my college marching band schedule and figure that out, as the only reason they let us out of a rehearsal is if someone dies. So...maybe someone will have to die so I can go. :twisted:

Of course...I'm a poor college student, so if I do go, I'll go cheapest seats I can find, and sleep in my car at some creepy truckstop outside of the city!

I couold only afford a $50.00 seat, waaaaaaaay up in the final tier, but it will be great just to be there. Off in the wings, I think, there's still some 35.00 seats...
