Okay guys... need some outside input.

I'm a new addition to a "Jukebox" type band. They play stuff ranging all over the place. Classic Rock tunes... some Tragically Hip... recent rock tunes... some country-ish tunes too (KT Tunstall)...

We're gonna do Floyd, some OAR, maybe some DMB, probably some Oingo Boingo, and some Springsteen.

I need assistance with some other tunes that are popular enough for the masses in a bar crowd to recognize and that I'm gonna be able to rock out on a sax.

Thanks in advance to the sax community.

look for all the 50s/60s rock you can. You'll find sax all over the place, tons of tunes that are great for the bar.

Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, Gary US Bonds, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band (aka Eddie and the Cruisers), Classics IV, Johnny and the Hurricanes, Red Prysock, Big Jay McNeely, King Curtis, Jr. Walker, and the list of artists goes on and on and on.... you could also do some blues and add sax to it, like The Thrill is Gone, Everyday I get the Blues, etc...
