If you're looking for a great saxophone, call me at 646-366-0240. These horns are normally four to five hundred dollars more expensive anywhere else. They are handmade in germany and very sturdy making them ideal for any level of player. And what a gift idea! Call Soon!!! Have a great day!!!

I wouldn't call Roberto's the 800 pound guerrilla in JK sax sales (who is?). So what's the big deal? I got the same message in an email blitz yesterday. No GAS caused as a result. I got the feeling they are trying to dump them. Maybe he knows something we don't.
I don't think stores are supposed to post to Craigslist...Robertos probably know that, hence the subterfuge.

Stores can advertise on CL and anytoher site they want. If he is selling or dumping discontinued models or isnt a dealer anymore, he can pretty much do what he likes. I dont know his details so i can't speak for him.
He's probably just trying to pick up on the bargain hunter's for the back to school crowd.

That would be "GORILLA". "Guerrilla" is a whole 'nother thang.

Yes, it was a play on words ;)
My bad. I missed the implied emoticon.

Yes, an 800 lb guerrilla - in fatigues, camoflage facepaint, toting a .50 calibre machine gun would be quite a sight.

"I'll be baaaaack" indeed... ;)
their Keilwerth sale prices are great...$3,300 for the Vintage alto. Keilwerths are too stuffy for me (though I think they can sound magnificent in the hands/mouth of someone else.) I wish Roberto would lower the price of the Borganis by $1,000...I'd run up there and buy one.

Yeah, on 46th and Broadway it give the Naked Cowboy a run for his money

Art, I don't want the Borgs lowered in price. Then I'd be sleeping in front of Roberto's 'cause I spent my rent money on one
Aw, c'mon, "TJ on the Road" sounds like you were meant to be sleeping in a car. ;)

FWIW, Roberto's blind Craigslist ad has been taken down. Weiner, you sell Keilwerth also...did you rat Roberto out to the new distributor or something?

I would never do something like that. Never speak against another dealer.
