This is sad. I saw him with Maynard in the '70's. He was a great saxophone player. I read somewhere that he had lost his battle with cancer. R.I.P.

The great Mike Migliore, New York City saxophonist (originally from Buffalo NY) has passed. He may be best known for his tenure with Maynard Ferguson's band in the late 1970's. A great player and by all accounts a great person.
