I had the pleasure of playing a lot of gigs with Buddy about 15 years or so ago and he was the real deal.
He was great sax player and a whole lot of fun.
Edlin "Buddy" Terry (born January 30, 1941) is an American jazz musician and alto/tenor sax player. He was born in Newark, New Jersey. In the 1960s and 1970s Terry made albums for Prestige Records and Mainstream Records.[1] He played with the group Swingadelic from 2000 to 2010. Buddy passed away November 29th 2019

Sorry to hear of Buddy's passing. He really was a fine player.
I heard him sitting in with Sonny Rollins at the Clifton Tap Room years ago, and he more than held his own. RIP Buddy!
