Rick DiMuzio played two great sets with regulars Phil Grenadier on trumpet and Austin McMahan on drums. Also rotating in this week was Bruce Gertz on Bass one of the best local bass players. They played mostly Bruce's tunes including a lovely Elvin Jones tribute "EJ" and two standards (Solar and Stella by starlight). Also Jeff Galindo joined on plastic trombone for a very Mingus like round of three simultaneous blues heads (First Billie's bounce, then Now's the Time then a third ) which produces some great interplay and excellent solos all around.

Wonderful local music in front of a single digit audience...8-(
