Hi all! I recently had the chance to try a yet-to-be released mouthpiece, the Vandoren Profile AP3. Check out my video review here:

Nice! The AP3 sounded great! I play AL3 on Selmer (but Ref 54) so glad you mentioned it too - it works well for me (I must like it 'chunky'!) but will have to give the AP3 a demo. And the new Yanagisawa classical is on the way too. Happy days!

Thanks for your excellent review. I especially liked the comparative aspect with the S-90; it was immensely helpful as a measuring stick.
I am interested in doing more reviews in this style... are there any particular mouthpieces you'd like to see me tackle in the future?

I would like to see reviews of the new Yani classical AC and the Mana alto.
Lucky for you I'm a Conn-Selmer artist so I'll call my rep and see what I can do!

Nice review.
To me, and on every test performed, you sounded better and more at ease on this Vandoren AP3 than on the other mouthpieces presented.
Interesting! I certainly prefer the "feel" of the S90 from a players perspective but I'm glad you liked my sound on the AP3!
